Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about online therapy
Starting therapy is a big step. Here are answers to some common questions I hear from prospective clients. If you have other questions, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to help.

Do you accept Insurance?
Yes. I accept select insurance plans for clients located in New York, including Aetna, Northwell Direct, and Medicare Part B.For clients in both New York and New Jersey, I can also provide documentation (often called a "superbill") that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network mental health benefits. If you have questions about coverage, reimbursement, or whether I am in-network with your plan, feel free to reach out before scheduling. I'm happy to help you understand your options.
What are your fees?
Individual Therapy (53–60 minutes): $175Couples Therapy (53–60 minutes): $200Payment is due at the time of service. I accept Aetna, Northwell Direct, and Medicare Part B for clients located in New York. For clients in New York and New Jersey, I can also provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Do you offer sliding scale spots?
Yes. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale appointments for clients who may be experiencing financial hardship or whose circumstances make the full fee difficult to manage.Sliding scale availability is limited and may vary over time. If cost is a concern, I encourage you to reach out so we can discuss your situation and determine whether a reduced-fee appointment may be available. My goal is to make therapy as accessible as possible while maintaining a sustainable practice. If I am unable to offer a sliding scale spot at the time you inquire, I may be able to provide referrals to other resources or providers that better fit your financial needs.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
IÂ understand that unexpected situations arise and schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a cancellation fee. Providing advance notice allows me to offer that appointment time to another client who may be waiting for care.If you need to make a change to your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. For complete details regarding cancellations, late arrivals, and fees, please refer to the Practice Policies provided during the intake process.
Still Have Questions?
